Malheureux*

Malheureux*

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

Living in the echoes

Flowing uncharmed disarray

Constant abandonment

Hopless degradation

A soul raped bare

With shadows of ashes

From embers of burnt dreams

Livid nightmares without escape

Choices are endless torment

Sorrow unable to produce tears

Transfixed upon an image

Of dreams being shattered

Tears hurt as salt seeps

Into the wounds of my heart

screams in a void of silence

A mind wanders, the body remains

A travesty of deniable simplicities

The heart in anguish, weeps

Sinuouse confusing madness

Drowning lifes misery...

...Weakly still living

I love this! The title caught my eye first, since I study French, and the poem was spectacular. I absolutely adore your diction.
