Cold, Need Warmth

Cold, Need Warmth

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

A door opens

Another closes

Cold grips the spine

The truth lives

Words whispered

Rattled on brain

Journey unfolds

Uncertainty a ghost

Haunted by descisions

Regretably made uncouth

Depression seeps

Thru skin, bone, and tears

Let down, lied to

Kicked around

Wheres the honor

A fallen angel

Nightmares alive
utterly alone

save for beliefs

Cracks beging to appear

Spirit shattering

Humbled, limping on

Buts its cold

Within my soul its cold

Loneliness stalks me

Misery an only friend

Stubborn, struggle on

To proud to give in

Yet wearing down

Sands have fallen

A lost chaotic trail

Someone

Anyone

Find me...
