One More Tear

One More Tear

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

By Windstorm Kells ©2005

Anguish, torment, seething
A mistake almost made again
Without your love nourishing me
I halted with words spoke to me
From a single sheet of paper
Words, from one heart to another
A sword ripping thru the very center
Not knowing what to do
I asked the Gods to speak their words to me
They showed me what I must do
I grieve for the love, which could have been
But the love I have is greater then all the hearts in the world
You used my own words against me
Express how you felt I cried
Because I know where I belong
In your arms,
But don’t try and change who you are
Just make me happy
Be yourself and if…
Troubles start I’m here for you
Together we can give this world hell!

This is a pretty emotional based poem, but it is put together well and is easy to read (in the good way). There are some missing commas but that is mostly author's preference in poems. Also, "Express how you felt I cried", this sentence made little to no sense to me. You might want to think about rearranging it, or rewording it for clarification. Thank you sharing.
