Empty Time

Empty Time

A Poem by Christopher 'Windstorm' Kells

A moment past

Disbelief couldn't disgrace

hourglasses devoid of time

Yet sand has elapsed

Your smile has not

A beautiful world given

From a shattered heart

Fragmented pieces

Molded upon fine harp strings

Play music of true tears

Though a number lost

A call, not sure why

realization in your eyes

Visions of verdure forests

Sparkling clear streams

Ascend to the stars

Love found in the universe

Twinkling firelight

Destiney ensnaring a wanderer

A kiss echoing eternaly

Time moves on

Missed are those days

Yet stored in my heart

You are never that far

when i think of you!
