A Poem by Wilyem Clark

Pickle-monkey's on my back,
Gotta have that nummy snack;
Homemade's best, but come a hitch,
Claussen's spears can scratch my itch.
Not just cukes, though they're my fave,
Onions and peppers I also crave;
Watermelon rind in brine
And sauerkraut are also fine.
Chow-chow, kimchi, sweet or hot;
That zing on my tongue--I like it a lot!
As for trotters . . . pigs be swine,
And pigs is where I draw the line.

About
I've been writing poems since my teens (now in my 60s) and prose since the 1990s. It's been hard finding decent forums online--the free websites too often suffer sudden deaths. My "published" works ar.. more..
