A Poem by Wilyem Clark

O little Snow Leopard,
I wink at thee;
Don't assume my coyness
Means anything
Beyond flirtation,
For you are a prowler, whereas I
Construct custom cages
Out of tempered words
To protect myself
From wild, roaming beasts.

About
I've been writing poems since my teens (now in my 60s) and prose since the 1990s. It's been hard finding decent forums online--the free websites too often suffer sudden deaths. My "published" works ar.. more..
