SeditionA Poem by Wilyem Clark
Nothing like a good old-fashioned
Storming of the castle To shake the chamberlains from their naps. Perhaps now the pandering To insane revisionists will cease And people will see that waving a flag While proposing lawlessness Is the opposite of patriotism. Here are some lessons every schoolchild should learn: Don't surrender rule to the savage fringe; Don't raise a dummkopf to eminence; Don't abandon ethics for quicksand convenience. And when the me-me-mean mobs threaten, When halfwit hooligans cry for blood, Let them sacrifice their own. © 2021 Wilyem Clark |
