A Poem by Wilyem Clark

Shadows on the Internet
Insubstantial beings
Unreal--unreal--unreal
Soon we will forget what
Living people look like
How skin on skin can feel
The grace notes of a person
Within the range of touch
We've all become divided
Like clots of ice in trays
So frozen in position
We'll crack and melt away.

About
I've been writing poems since my teens (now in my 60s) and prose since the 1990s. It's been hard finding decent forums online--the free websites too often suffer sudden deaths. My "published" works ar.. more..
