UntitledA Poem by Wilyem Clark
I should be happy with my scaled-down life; After all, I'm privileged: I don't have to worry about
What shall I eat? Where shall I sleep? How will I survive another week?
And yet, regardless of where one falls
Along the gross spectrum of humanity, There's always a better, more attractive option On the far side of an invincible wall. One must strive for it, Or collapse in a torrent of tears. © 2018 Wilyem Clark |
