A Poem by Wilyem Clark

How did we ever find the other
In this sea of anonymity?
We both agree--it was kind of a miracle
(You say God, I say dumb luck),
And though the match wasn't permanent,
A lingering amity buoys our spirits
As we go off in search of
Further nonpareil miracles.

About
I've been writing poems since my teens (now in my 60s) and prose since the 1990s. It's been hard finding decent forums online--the free websites too often suffer sudden deaths. My "published" works ar.. more..
