A Poem by Wilyem Clark

Your stars are fading
and you cannot call on them
to give you consolation
and sustenance.
New stars will replace them
and in turn fade and die
as the universe curls in upon itself
like a breaker assaulting the shore
with only the minutest pause
to consider what was.

About
