A Poem by Wilyem Clark

Beware the everlasting limbo
That swirls about you once a certain
Milestone of middle age is reached.
The prejudice of youth,
Or even one's own generation,
Mutely damns you sight unseen
And hands down verdicts without due process,
Consigning you to senile care
Or lonely purgatory pastures.

About
I've been writing poems since my teens (now in my 60s) and prose since the 1990s. It's been hard finding decent forums online--the free websites too often suffer sudden deaths. My "published" works ar.. more..
