Unlucky

Unlucky

Unlucky

Lucky are those who have found love

And been loved.

Lucky are those who bear the gift of face.

Easy is for them to find an easy case

     for their own taste

                - a goal for their own base.

Lucky are those who has an outstanding confidence.

For by it, they don’t live with a doubtful fence.

Freely as they get any wants in their existence.

I give away smiles, pieces of my lies,

Pretending not having rainy skies.

Hiding my Breathless sighs.

Sometimes I am like a rock

Too dull to feel, a surface too rough.

A sense I lost, a unreachable core,

I don’t know how to love anymore.

your expression in this is undeniable, but it's not because we are not pretty enough, I have seen some of the most unfortunate people physically fall madly in love, no, love is no respecter of beauty, or station in life, sme are just unlucky until they are lucky, patience my friend.

Pax, in the process of 'giving away smiles, you also spread your courage - the ability to carry on with your life. Your words are your strength, dear friend - you ARE a rock. And, there will be a time when it and they take you to the best and most beautiful love. It takes a woman to know these things. :)

Such a sweetly penned poem.

'Pretending not having rainy skies.
Hiding my Breathless sighs.'

A beautifully phrased poem, with a faultless message and great flow. where would we be without love, it is the most important thing in the universe (in my humble opinion). i enjoyed your poem a lot my friend and count myself as one of the lucky ones! fantastic.

Lucky are those who have the gift of "face", it is true in a superficial world, but there are some who despise petty and trivial pursuits...i still and will always believe in the latter truth...

The style in the first few lines reminded me of the Eight Beatitudes :).Very apt observation with respect to "gift of face". While most of us would say that innate beauty is more important than physical beauty, in the real world-- physical beauty matters because that is the first thing people would notice. When applying for a job, someone with a gift of face or with pleasing personality will definitely have some edge. :) Regarding those with confidence, no matter how confident a person is, he has still some fears. The only difference is that a confident person doesn't allow such fear to put him down. Someone who could do that is truly lucky.

if only we can have that confidence to love...and know that we will be loved back...once we get dulled in our emotions, we do lose that sense...this is a wonderful piece of poetry that shows a poet's heart.

Very strong feeling and honesty in this poem! as always I love the deep thoughts in you, analyzing yourself is so good to make your heart clean! I can sense all the meaning behind the portrait of "unlucky" person..but unlucky is more who found love and lost it, who dont have open heart and evil eyes and who even dont realize he "is nothing". Who is confident on his own stupidity and arrogance. The person, who didnt find still love, will find it in the right time, because he wish so! Sometimes I felt that and this moments are related to sadness...But they go away. I love the last verses :
Sometimes I am like a rock
Too dull to feel, a surface too rough.
A sense I lost, a unreachable core,
I don’t know how to love anymore.
