the feeling that never fades

the feeling that never fades

A Poem by Pax
"

----- prose poem

"

You knew that I only want the simple things, the things or feelings I can’t achieve. Love & understanding from each and every one who touches our lives.I am bleeding you know, from the chains you’ve created around me. It’s painful to know when you’re so good at pretending. Creating a charade that no one could ever see me.Perhaps some had a glimpse of me, yet only a few. It hurts me to know that you are creating a barricaded wall to create a distance between two worlds.

I am a part of you that perhaps no one could ever know.

The chain of fear wrap me as if it’s a part of me, with walls of doubt too thick and too tall for me to see just for a glimpse of what’s out there.

I am your heart; I am a part of you who screams and shout inside this dreamy realm and the only one who bleeds for you.I lend you these feelings as you translate it into words. The pulsing beat, the rhythm of the keyboard as you write down what I dictates.Life is not something to mourn, or to be sad with, or to be lonely too, or be mad about, or even to shut everyone out…  You knew I am always here, you were never alone, I am here you know, we can make this life worthwhile. I can be your light in these shades of gray life-time.

Waiting for the moment of truth to come, because we are worthy of something, we are worthy to live a good life without asking too much.

We are strong enough together.

I am your soul; no one can ever take me away.

I’ll stay a life-time in your heart.

I am the feeling that never fades.

I loved the message here, that life is worth fighting for, that we are not alone, even though it feels that way sometimes. I think this poem shows the journey of your writing and how far you have travelled in the last couple of years. This is a sophisticated poem, soul-searching and immensely deep, written as the very best poems are from the heart with wonderful insight to the human condition. I felt very humbled by this writing and it let me see that there is no reason to give up and I thank you for that. fantastic.

Very expressive. I like the line "I am part of you..." because it seems to link all writers into one unique being. I'm new on this site but I feel I'm part of each and everyone's writing. Go on publish it.

thank you, it nice to hear your words my friend, i am glad you read this...
I contemplate the soul a lot when I write; where is it exactly and why does it make me write? Its good to know that our physical selves are never without our souls, and you, Pax, are certainly not alone in these feelings. Very thought provoking, perhaps dark but there's a light at the end.
