Sometimes I would think that I should stop writing poems, that I have no future in what so ever in it or stop writing all together. It’s a hobby that can’t feed me yet it feeds my mind and filled my soul with wisdom, that my heart is communicating - somewhat sprinkling bits of pieces he wants to convey. I feel tired you know, there is too many uncertainties I feel, it stings, somewhat my soul bleeds... yet I found a special family of friends here, and that to me is worth enough to stay in this site.
I write from a deep perspective, something that hides behind the rhymes. More often it is just fragments of my soul, scattered in all of my verses.
Poetry is a hard life. Writing is a hard life. Art, in any way, shape or form is a hard life. But we do it because we feel it in our souls. We might not necessarily be good at it. It might not be able to earn us a living, and all the words in our heart may threaten to tear us apart, or to overflow and drown the world. It may seem like too much of a burden, to have the power of the pen, to feel like you're drifting out on an ocean of emotions that flicker so quickly past you don't have time to grasp it and put it on paper, thoughts and feelings too beautiful to ever be captured by words. And so many times we want to walk away, to stop, to give up. But I think what makes it worth it isn't the result. It doesn't matter what happens in the end. Whether the words are clumsy or not. Whether anybody publishes it or not. Whether or not anyone else approves, even. It doesn't matter in the end. What matters is the journey. And honestly, for people like us? The journey itself is enough.

No matter what happens to life, even it is hard, what matters indeed is the journey, that despite all things that had happened, we are still here, going through the journey, we are alive - and in writing it, it breathes our lives in verses... sigh, such a beautiful review, thank you my friend...
writing isn't easy and we do at times have Bleeding hearts.
But when the blood and sweat is poured into the pen
when the muse is ever so going it is worth it.
I enjoyed this We seem to bare our Naked soul
with our writings and one's get a understanding
of who we are.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece.

You're quite welcome. and you're very correct. it's my pleasure always. blessings. kindred poet
Yea .. me too most of the times, think exactly the way you thought writing this poem. Yeah .. such questions hit on my mind to ask me .. that what`s a future of it? Yeah ... what`d I get writing poems and stuffs .. is there any future? or am just spoiling my time bleeding in words? And the truth`s my friend .. we can`t find the exact answer to solve such questions of uncertainties ... but when I sit alone and think deep about such questions or read some other writer`s stuffs then my mind speaks up to me and say, "You don`t have to worry of anything ... what all you do`s already what you collecting the woods to build a ranch and the day`s not yet far when the ranch`d automatically transform into the big home/house .. A home/house which`d be further named ... "Your future!" And these things always motivate me to write and write. And my friend, if any time, you feel to stop writing then try to think over my thoughts and then re-collect all of YOUR thoughts on your OWN mind ... i`m sure, you`d find a better and much more inspiration than me to build a home .. your own future.
It`s a very beautiful write, my friend. You`re already on the right tracks. If you want to know, what the future of writing`s ..then i`d like to say .. "It`s itself a future!! Writing`s itself a future to a writer`s life!." Keep it up .. I like reading your relevant stuffs and yea ... i`m just heading on toward the rest of the series of this write ;)

So beautiful and sad too..It radiates the same emotions of your poem "Empty Canvas", yet here is related directly to writing poetry. All what we feel attracted has deep meaning and specially if this is a creating and product of our imagination and mind. To have strong memory and mind is not enough, without heart and imagination, they are so connected in this process. You touched the main cord of the writers...how they need to have balance, sometimes escaping, sometimes running from reality and themselves, in order to find the truth, to touch essence. Not all what is important and valuable for us ,is the same for others. Even between the different writers there is so much space..But we can realize our common goal, what we are longing for is the same...even expressed is so many different ways. Again...we need this "empty space", before the stream comes inside us like a river. I love these:
Fragile words carefully stored
In this land of poets, we concord.
Finally you have hope, which is most important! and you are sure the inspiration await us, and its always meaningful and beautiful!

I can hear the scream behind the wordplay for sure, and I really like all you fit into a small package here!! We can all sympathize with feeling like poetasters, when we can all be poets in truth. You prove your value as a poet here, with ease, but simultaneously show us a believably frustrated aspiring writer. Painfully aware of the failings you may (or may not) possess. I am impressed. Honestly. There is a lot in this short space. You detail a surreal scene, which matches the picture above, then zero in on the group of writers here (or at least in your life, generally), followed by an even more intimate setting wherein you reveal your own personal struggles and weaknesses in a very forthright way. At last, you challenge the reader to deny the worth of this entry, and I -for one- validate your value as a poet. This is an important work. It summarizes a very specific feeling in a way not often discussed with such candor, and done in a very economical manner. Bravo!

Oddly enough frustration can be one of the most honest and relateable things you can share as a poet, I think. This shows much more than just frustration, but as a theme that one is really well discussed here.
