I was contemplating to come back or to completely closed my account, but I don't want to give up to the creativity I find releasing and uplifting for my soul and heart.
I owe the inspiration of this piece to this photo: I can't paint
It is what I feel when I can't be creative, there is this urge to create within me or within us all. I think every artist knows that. It's been long, I haven't drawn or paint, I guess i really missed that.

Every single time I have an idea, it comes to me as a perfect image in my head. I know what I want to do with it, and yet somehow, every single time while transferring that idea to paper it turns out slightly (or a lot) different than I imagined. It really, really bugs me and it's really sad when that happens. But that's why I keep doing it. Because I know, as long as I keep working on my crafts, one day, I'll be able to do it. What's life without a little challenge after all? Beautiful piece, speaks to the heart. The dilemma of every writer, painter, artist, put in words. It seems that your canvas isn't blank after all.

It is good to see you here, Rose, I really do appreciate that. I do try my best to keep the ink running even though many times I doubt myself. Thank you so much for this wonderful reflection.
conveys both despair and hope. it's good you can articulate these feelings of frustration. i can relate, as i battle with writer's block. i also took a watercolor class recently and discovered i really suck at it, so i'm bummed out about that too...i may take up paining again, but more on an abstract level. your poem is motivating and inspiring. excellent job.

I love the meaning behind this poem and it hurts us so deeply when we approach the page, so ready to go with ideas, the four mind goes completely blank. No matter how hard we try to think of and write or paint out our ideas, they just don't come out the way we want...then we have to proceed to something different that's not art in order to get our minds right. This is often how I feel when I get a new sketchbook or journal; I see every blank page, soak up their beauty, having so many ideas to get out, but just...get nothing when I want to get them out. It frustrates me more than anything when I'm not able to create when I have to opportunity :/

I greatly appreciate you my friend, sharing your experienced is a great insight, i am glad.
This is very beautiful. Not sure about technicalities of writing, but forget it. This poem penetrates the heart.

Dare to take a tiny step
and things’ll start surging,
Just set up your canvas and
you’ll feel the picture emerging.
A molehill becomes a mountain
a flicker turns into fire,
fortune, forces, God and all
wait for you to desire.
It’s never predictable
the world is full of upsets,
he, who tries, wins
he, who yearns, gets.
Time and again history
has rooted for the underdog,
and masters too have bowed
for limelight that they hog.
Sure, hell does come in way
but mostly, it’s heaven,
it may take a while
but miracles happen
Miracles do happen
Miracles do happen…
DON'T YOU STOP...DON'T YOU QUIT...JUST DARE TO TAKE A TINY STEP...
