The false prince

 

I am no prince

Nor I am of royal blood

 

There is just nothing more of a dream

I wince of meaning to be someone

That person was never me

 

The crown I once wore,

I thought was forever meant

Temporary was I all to be

Shame on me

 

I kept running from the storm

Hoping to evade what fear had brought

Now facing what I fear the most

A reality slap

     to wake up on this lovely nap

 

Once I was a false prince

     in a dreamy fantasy pretense

 

Now I thought I was a walking dead

All along I was asleep on my bed…

I used to think there was a little prince in all off us guys. until i looked in the mirror and saw me. No that mirror is broken as i shattered it with my fist. wanting to take the pieces and tear the very flash off my face, and stub the monster i see. Too this day i no longer look in the mirror knowing the prince that used too me is no longer there. So i no know this poem. i know the feelings behind it. I know the dream well, because its my true reality.

It's okay to dream Pax, after all dreaming is free of charge:) But what is human without his dreams? Our dreams made us move forward. They made us who we are and who we are not. Funny thing is, when you dreamed you're a prince, you call it false however it's true that you were a prince in your dream. Isn't it a paradox? This is my fave from you so far:)

wow, coming from, it's a great honor :), it is, somehow ironic din, diba? To be honest MM, false prince is the big metaphor here, before I am not so fond of deep thoughts but as i dug in deeper, you'll know yourself better, am i right? so I guess this is just me expressing something through a dream or many things in poetry.... I say this before dreams are my escape from the harsh realities, perhaps without it I wouldn't be as human as i a am.... i am grateful always with you deep reflection on my poem... ikaw na talaga :D

[The dark story]

our dream sometimes helps live in that virtual reality which we haven't grasp yet. our reality might be bitter at times...especially when we found ourselves "walking dead"...existence seems so futile. yet inside we still crave for it to become brighter again. and that's the reason why we our dream carries us to that hypothesis.

i love the poem here as i always do. yet you're quite demoralized here, so low.
you're great as an artist as a person. you have inspired me a lot of time and even amazed me. there's no need for that line in the third stanza.
we all fear to face the reality. yet success and failures are just two imposter in our life. we neither have to keep ourselves too high in success and nor too low during fails...just sane and normal and a strong will to do something great again.

the last two lines were just too strong...pulled the strings of my heart.

I love your ending, it's truly depressive, but oh so true, for sleep and death lay close.
Sometimes, we just want to sleep all away, for it makes life more comfortable... (truly depressive actually) and the last 3 weeks I was a living zombie myself... so I know how you feel in this one.

Still I always see your light through every write, I don't know why, maybe I just feel it... but there is a hidden King inside of you, who pretty well knows to wear his crown, by writing such an artful piece. And I mean that. You are not aware of how great you are bro! Sister Winkies ;) :) :)
