Short-LivedA Poem by Paxin my eagerness to make a love poem...
I encase the
memories you had given I cherish the
feelings we’ve shared Life came up short-lived Death has entwined his arms around you I can’t untangled what fate has brought I had crossed river boundaries Built a bridge toward a better way Still I end up in loose end Why? Why must we part ways when all is okay? I had lived-up to the depth of sadness, until you came along And drain all its vastness into glowing warmth I feel alive in your arms Content of its loving embrace …Then… Some warm emotions are not forever meant For us to feel
each passing days of our lives some short, some takes years but then it will never be eternal I guess it will always be Short-lived For life is too short to waste I missed you, dearest soul Walking in the valley of grieving I learned to live Living without you at arm’s reach is bearable I cultured the days without you To live up to be a much better man than before You have taught me how to embrace myself How acceptance made an impact in your dying memory You’re my teacher, my best-friend, my lover and my wife I can’t believe in such short time You have healed the dying lands of my Journey I will be forever be in your light My path will be long My heart had dozed its eternal slumber Until the day we meet up again Spirited away towards the undying heaven © 2014 PaxAuthor's Note
