Contentment’s path

Contentment’s path

A Chapter by Pax
"

~~~~~a short poem for everyone's purpose...i guess..not sure so tell me your thoughts
"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The fringes of fate frozen my fingers upon reaching you

………But destiny’s hands are within my grasp…

Then I used my mind’s free will to take hold of it and reach you

* Together I’ve achieved fulfilling joy with you at my side

.....…towards a journey to Contentment’s path

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's hopeful with just a tinge of...darkness. I like it because it is so real to me. It has a message, to strive to overcome whatever bonds "fate" might lay on you. There is fate, yes, a unique end to which we all journey, but within the wheels of that destiny, our free will lets us forge the road that takes us there. And for the few, even strive to alter that end.
That's what I get from this piece. It might not have been what you saw when you wrote it, but it is what I see when I read it. And therein lies the beauty of ultimate purpose of every art the world over.
Thanks for this.
Very uplifting and loved the way you did this set up, to merge the colors even into a little free poem, thank you for this one my friend.
I like the overall message of this poem, reach one, teach one then both of you can fullfill each others contentments. The coloful diction displayed makes it even more emphatic. Great write :)
Really like this and the highlighted words could indeed be a piece of prose unto themselves :)
no problem my friend...it's always a pleasure to hear from you...Glad your back..
I liked how it could be two poems in one. If i read the highlighted words together it is a poem in itself. I liked this, it was uplifting and creative.
