Contentment’s path

A Chapter by Pax
"

~~~~~a short poem for everyone's purpose...i guess..not sure so tell me your thoughts
"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The fringes of fate frozen my fingers upon reaching you

………But destiny’s hands are within my grasp…

Then I used my mind’s free will to take hold of it and reach you

* Together I’ve achieved fulfilling joy with you at my side

.....…towards a journey to Contentment’s path

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's hopeful with just a tinge of...darkness. I like it because it is so real to me. It has a message, to strive to overcome whatever bonds "fate" might lay on you. There is fate, yes, a unique end to which we all journey, but within the wheels of that destiny, our free will lets us forge the road that takes us there. And for the few, even strive to alter that end.
That's what I get from this piece. It might not have been what you saw when you wrote it, but it is what I see when I read it. And therein lies the beauty of ultimate purpose of every art the world over.
Thanks for this.
no, i haven't been writing my friend... sadly my stories got block... this is old post... thanks alw.. read more
beautiful poem in philosophy of fate! very deep..with feeling of gratefullness to someone, who will walk with you this path! I liked how you underline the phrases "fingers of fate" and "destinie`s hands" sounds linked again strongly with the topic of karma from another poem of you..I really love this topic, as it`s one the most profound in art!
Very nicely done, Pax...especially liked the alliteration in first line
Uplifting and hopeful...and quite sincere
unique form and style....only criticism, is second line.....hard for this myopic reader to discern whether it's "destiny's band" or "destiny's hand" Either works but gives the line a slightly different connotation. Personally I would clear that up by switching to a font where there is no question as to what you mean to say...
Outside of that, an excellent write, Pax
Good to find a good path to be on. A contentment's path is nice. Allowed us to feel safe and in the right place. Nice tone to this poem. Allow the reader to find into the hope in the words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
