Darkness creeps in the far corners of our mind,

Waiting, Waiting

 for its turn to come out.

If a pure soul is tainted with blood

Or even just a splash of it

Darkness grows

Then it’s hard for a soul to contain it.

This is a deep thought of mine, blood can be a metaphor or not, it really depends on the situation.

A process often referred to as "confession."
Entertaining or "playing with" darkness (of certain types) can be disastrous.
Perhaps, you're talking about a presence that is not, at first, fully recognized.

We all hold on to darkness. We must control the anger and the desire of bad action. I like the way you led the reader into the poem. Last lines are fact. Hard to stop the darkness from overtaking a life. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

I really don't know, as far as i believed it has two personalities/sides..
like:
he light and the dark sides..
good and evil..
yin and yang..
~i believed it the balance of our nature...
that's why all of us is capable of darkness...

One can't really prevent it, but maybe just maybe one can contain it. Rare will you see it being contained, is it not? I like how it embodies the truth of the world. Darkness really loves to creep around just waiting

yes we can contained, its meaning can be differentiate..example: you contained your dark thoughts for wanting to come out..beacause your afraid it might hurt someone and prevent ending up regreting something you have done.
