Happiness is Missing

3 different perspective of what's missing. Is soulmate or its within ourselves? can you tell me your thoughts about it, if you may? all the good and the bad sides, i want to know it.

 

If you decide to be happy then you’re just wearing it just like a façade. The question is, are you really happy of what you have?

 

You're happy because you have everything money can buy and everyone are enjoying your company. But are you really happy with their company? It seems they only see you as fun and someone who can pay their food and entertainment. With all that do you ever find someone that will truly made you happy and would willing to give up all the riches you have?

 

You’re happy because you achieved something. You have done this and that, everything your mind can solve and achieved. Was that really enough for you? Is there something missing you didn’t achieve?

 

You're happy because you have something to work hard for. You work hard for the future, never minding the current state. You tend to forget small things like giving yourself a break and give love back to those who love and cherish what you do. Have you really question yourself after you achieve the top; are you really happy that along the way you have something missing and forgot something that you left behind just to be there?

 

Happiness can be big or small, can you find it?

I understand what your going my friend. That's the purpose of this little article of mine. I'm in search also for happiness. And
someone said in the review that happiness is a choice. If you choose yourself to be happy even the simpliest things then you'll be happy.
those three you mentions made me really think. Phycial happiness is easy to attain, you buy yourself a icecream when your sad then you'll feel the sadness drifts away a little or you take a break and feel the relaxing feeling of the sorroundings you'll feel a sense of relief, right!
spiritually is not that hard its all in the believing that its there and having faith.
emotionally, I'm weak on that spot and the most hard to attain. even i myself don't feel happy in the moment in terms of that, all of my relationships didn't last long. But i keep on trying because we know there will always be someone who will be the right one for us.

Ah.. easy to find or hard I don't know... I am afflicted with the pessimist writer's disease which I caught on two writers who wants to quit WC

i think its not contagious but if you allow it then it will spread like disease.
don't be affected by it, i know it's hard but we can avoid it as much as possible.
if you open your mind to positivism you'll survive the struggle.
don't give up!

Thought provoking write, Willyam! While I was pondering a response, I became aware of all the subtle and different meanings of the word "happiness". Some may use the word to describe an excited feeling, or delight...some may use it to express satisfaction, some rapture...it can go on and on. I suppose what I am trying to say is that the meaning of word "happiness" would depend on the context it appeared in. When I think of real happiness, for me, I think of it as being at peace with life and God and trusting that I am on a journey...in that way, I usually say that I am quite content as opposed to elated or joyful or ecstatic. There are times when I do indeed feel those ways, but I try to treasure the moments I am given, and be thankful that there is always some good to find if we look for it. See how this affected me? As I said...thought provoking.

as i said in my author's note its was inspired from other poems so basically its not new.

Another insightful piece of yours. ^^ We should be happy to even the smallest thing happening to us. Well, I think I could relate this to contentment. Because if you are not contented of whatever you have or wherever you are or if you already have achieved so many things, you will never be happy. If you are contented then I could say somehow happiness is there. :D
