I think it goes this way for a lot of us, Pax...I used to deal with mine by trying to be a perfectionist, and do you know where that left me more often than not? Sitting in a pool of emotional wreckage. These days I try to face the insecurities head on and limit judging myself (because I just know someone's already doing that for me *laugh*) and try to focus on the things I'm good at and, after telling myself a thousand times I'm actually good at something, I even start to believe it. We're all a hot mess when it comes to this. Just take a breath, shake it off, and persevere, baby.

sometimes a thousand times isn't enough for our hard headed skull, but then again it does pierce through most of the time :) ~ I like the idea of limiting the judgemental self, because its true that someone is already doing that hehe ~ shake it off is the best thing to do ;) ~ and it goes to my fav song by flourence

Here is another drip of your wisdom, Willyam. Too much self-judgment can make us judge others harshly as well. It is a long road to overcoming the "committee" in our heads. It is always ripe with criticisms, and negativities, and "should haves" and "should not haves". Sometimes, you just have to close the door on it and go outside for a walk to clear your mind.
