Dark thoughts today

Filling up the corners of my mind

Biting at my stomach like a savage dog

I can’t breath

Stealing my happiness like a parasite

Missing you is just another unfixable wound

In the ashes

Of my no longer beating heart

I’m slipping slipping back to where i started

I’m sick of pain

If I have to name the best poem that I read this month I would name this. Short but emotion packed. Every line is a delicious dish to eyes; "Missing you is just another unfixable wound"

I struggle with anxiety and depression and it sucks. It's something I'll have to deal with my whole life. But where my source of joy comes from is writing. It helps me understand who I am and what I go through. These words are very real feelings that are very common in todays world. You are an extremely talented writer/author and I just want to let you know that, whenever you are going through something difficult or it just seems to much, just write! It will help you and others around you.
Your writing is incredible and keep up the incredible work!

Thank you! I do find that writing helps. When i write my poetry its usually to get a strong feeling out. Thats why i started writing poetry in the first place. Im so glad you liked it!

I know what you feel because I am at a dark point in life.. I have good days but they don't last long.. Very truthful write for people who relate.. Thanks for sharing
