Sanguine

Sanguine

A Poem by Jane Elizabeth
"

Brain vomit.

"
Sunny eyelash reflections blanket the strawberry wine complexion
Thoughts can no longer ferment in a jar of paper stars and hushed baby faced beauties
Unspoken desire leaps and bounds universal morality
Ribbon curls from the third eye spills onto acrylic canvas of lust made morality and desired sentimentality, while
groping customs and consensual agenda

I enjoyed the vivid imagery, and complexity wrapped up in each line. You used just enough: not too much, or too little. It left just the right amount to be desired in the way of contemplation, and yearning, to dig deeper into the little universe you brought to life here in "Sanguine."
