World of change

And so much prospect…

Where all may go beyond expectancy,

Through welters of combatants;

Where adjutants agitate endlessly,

Tune into a world gone cartoon:

Not necessarily for guffaws…

Really - tussling and so much agitation

Seems too much this day:

A day to feel for invisibility.

Forms without note…

Eventually become extinct.

I may feel as though

I never was…

(Fleetingly).

Perception of value may thwart neglect.

Who says neglect cancels meaning?

I hear a cerebral voice

Whispering an urgent desire

To be nothing less than

Noteworthy.

Rancor sometimes seems so much…

Enough to send me sinking,

Ever deeper into some

Illusive coda…

Some nadir of endless

Silence…

Where, in some hollow,

Garbled echoes abound

In white noise blather.

I could sink so low into the black iris

Of a world I view in nightmares come true…

To a place I might be penned and discarded

Like some anachronistic spoil

No longer eminent enough to grace

Note.

Easy to feel like a hulking mammal soul.

While trying only to remain afloat

I study the leviathan's eye and

Cannot help but find the creature to be

Knowing… privy to facts

No human might ever know.

I want to swim into that haggard soul's eye;

To a place beyond those who

Wield inconsequential harpoons.

Dive deeper-

To a place beyond sea bottom…

Down to a grave juncture

Beneath abyssal depression…

Yet further still to channeling magma

To the infernal core where

Nothing survives intact…

And everything roils.

When tears fume in vaporous ruin,

Grievous force must null flesh

To ablution… to the abolition of all

Save some vestigial

Atomic essence.

A remove ensues in the core

Of this mighty orb's rotation…

Where the target was once merely fire.

From centrality; the heart of writhing mass in flux,

A launch point seems plausible

By way of bubbles

Which rise like giddy fireflies

From a hammer-smith's brazier;

Light as air, yet cogent enough to highlight

Ambitious dreams.

What once seemed inescapable burden…

Becomes seed to be carried on a lark whisper's breath

That hints of possible byways

Toward some pacific eventuality.

In the drift…

Beyond atmosphere,

Where endless vaults of airlessness

Appear as heightened destinations,

What once was a force for collapsing vision,

Becomes a memoir of hard worn concerns:

Hardly applicable to newborn identities.

Tension depletes.

Curiosities remain.

There is hope to ponder

Deeper still
