Talk is CheapA Poem by William Fields IssacThe inspiration behind this comes from a class I have and it really taught me the importance of engaging people in everyday life in meaningful conversation and establishing relationships.
Talk is cheap,
Most of the time free, Words are worthless, As most people see. No one is intentional, Only shooting the breeze, Babbling saying nothing, Lack the thought gain the ease. I prefer conversation, Discourse that has value, Not wasting words, Rather with intention that is true. When was the last time you talked to someone? Not just exchanging words, Instead engaging them on a genuine level, Not like the vain calling of birds. Talk is cheap, So be intentional, Conversation has value, Its effects are international.
