Love Like a FireA Poem by William Fields Issac
A spark and then a flame,
A flame and then a fire, Soon the fire a blaze became, And the whole forest it did require, This is the story of my heart, From a spark love kindled and grew, Until it consumed the outermost parts, And consumed my soul with a love that is true. This love is like no other, Greater than that of a husband and wife, That of father, child and mother, It is the the love which gives life, It is a selfless love, More pure than gold, More gentle than a dove, Yet Stedfast and bold. It is the love of My savior, The love of my God,
