My Dearest Wife,it pains me greatly to write this letter to you. After the happiness you have had in the prospect you had of returning home shortly, I must be messanger of grief. Is there any task more grievous than a father having to inform his wife of the death of their daughter.  It is true that young Ana has from our care into that of the Father. I ask that you forgive my pen, tis, as you understand, shaken by sorrow. Underlying is the sad tale of this most terrible event.

All was well that cursed day. now just one week from the date on the letter, I had finished the table that rich family had ordered of which I told you in my nlast letter, and I had fed all the animals just before noon.  Because of the happiness of my good fortune I chose to breeak Ana from her studies and celebrate with a picnic. I wish you had seen the joy in her eyes, one so young with such sparkle in her eye deserved to live forever. She went into the kitchen and put together a basket of all sorts of goodies and tasty things to eat. She fixed that bread she made so well, and event the jam you taught her to make. As she was preparing for our little adventure I cleaned and loaded my piece in hopes that we might chance across a small rabbit or goose that I might take for supper. We then went to her favorite glade in the woods, not far from the river, and there we stopped and made our picnic. Oh how happy she was, as we ate and drank, she always loved the wood.  After our picnicwe bagn to walk among the trees. Ana, dear Ana, skipped ahead laughing her silvery laugh. I told her if she didn't slow down she would leave her poor old father in the wood. She giggled  and began to run.  As we drew near to the river, she rounde a small copse and I lost sight of her. When I came to the spot where i could see where she had gone... I saw... HIM. That black blooded heartless fiend. He was holding her in his arms. such an ugly brute i have never seen, more monster in looks than human. Nay he wasn't human, He was a demon. No mortal man wit a soul could harm that innocent child. I ran and tore her from his arms. She was limp and pale. The beast looked at me and I gazed into the eyes of a demon. All glassy and yellow. His fangs glinted, wet with saliva at the foul prospect of drinking the blood of the innocent prey. With her in my arms, I turned and ran for the woods. The foul wretch pursued me with unnatural speed. When I reached the pinic I snatched up my piece, turned and fired at the demon. I know not whether balls of lead or steel of sword can kill the unholy, but the creature fell to the ground in pain. I hope that beast recieved my lead in the heart. Serves him right! he should suffer condemnation for the obscene act he committed!  My sweet Ana taken from me in such a way! Why should a demon be allowed to take the life of an angel? Why? Oh my dear wife  I have nothing left here. As soon as I tie up business here I will be coming to see you. You can expect me a month from the time you receive this letter. All joy in life is robbed of me. I am haunted by the painful howls of that monster. I hope he lay with death on the verge for a long time, with the fiery lak licking at his feet. May his last hours be ones of misery as he awaits his judgement... THE DEMON, MURDERER, WRETCHED VILE MANIFESTATION OF THE DEVIL HIMSE...

I am sorry my dear for my anger; I let it get the better of me. I must finish letter for my heart aches too much. I love you and miss you. I will be with you as soon as I can. I am sorry to bear you such grief.

                    Sincerly

WOW!, you've awed us again with another heartfelt tale...if I were to experience the life of Malachi as Anne was taken from him by the sinister fiend, guilt and regret would be trapped in my heart , for he had let his daughter out of his site , to find that she had been viciously preyed upon by such a creature. Have you always been such the writer that you are. Like I've said before and will say again, you excecute your thoughts in a very vivid manner.
