Eternity

Eternity

A Poem by William Fields Issac
"

This s a [poem written for Word Of Life Teens Involved

"

There he on the floor,

With death knocking at his door,

The end was very near,

As he faced his greatest fear,

An eternity of questions racing through his mind.

"How will they remember me?

As one who turned to flee,

Or one who stood firm,

Did I fill my call?

Or did I fail and fall?"

Soon he would pass into eternity.

With his dying breath he cried ,

"LORD, I know it was for me your son died.

Forgive me for all the things I've done."

With that he passed into the waiting arms of God's son.

In heaven today, he sings a new song for eternity.

Please don't wait,

It might be too late.

Death can come at any time and any place.

Are you ready to meet the end face to face?

Let the LORD come into your heart today,

and walk in his rightous way.

Only then will you live eternally.
