When loneliness feels like the only thing you know, it becomes comforting.

Alone is my destination yet again

It’s like home to me

Pulled right up in the drive way

Upon familiar pavement

Turn the doorknob and entered

Slipping off my shoes and coat

Here is where I belong

Engaging conversation with reality

Sipping tea and eating pastry

Aside an inviting fire
