Scarlet FlowerA Poem by HurryLost, infinite tramping, hastened marching, The screaming of the scarlet flower, I heard.
Shadowed footprints in the wrinkles of my palm, I saw.
Clear as the tint on your glasses. Warmer than violet, I felt.
If love was a flower that speaks, you would be its seed If love was a glimmer of the past, you would be its cradle
Love is the scarlet eyes of you that stares only at another Love is the way I look at you, but you only in him
The flower's love for him, my greatest desideration The outpour of love that flooded another, my sole necessity
How I wish love was a blinding lumen that only you can emit How I wish love was a feeling only you can make feel
And watch over you. Waiting for a chance to see Those scarlet eyes look at him once more,
Hoping to feel too. © 2017 HurryAuthor's Note
