Hot coffee

Hot coffee

A Poem by Hurry

I hug you from the back,

my cheek rubbing on a backpack.

A burnt tongue,

a friend she's been calling me.

I say, "I love you" as a joke,

indeed we laughed.

I was serious. She knew

My emotions were true.

My emotions did get through.

I made me another cup of coffee.
