Serenity

Serenity

A Poem by Liam
"

My feelings on the yearly monsoon

"

Please No CSS

In the quiet of a desert afternoon

In the midst of summer

There lies anticipation

As the clouds roll in

And all the birds hide

For those brief moments

You can feel the earth

Alive and active

With a crack of thunder

Out from the skies pours

The monsoon and its fury

Bringing the waters of the moon

Down to punish and nourish

The earth

After the passion of a summer monsoon

Just for a moment

There lies serenity

This is a nice poem, but you used mansoon twice in differnet
stanzas which seemed to take the creativity away from this poem.
