Lazy Afternoon

Lazy Afternoon

A Poem by Wildnessnameless

Let's have a picnic by the lake
Nature's bounty
Give and take

Mommy, Mommy the little boy yells
Glistening drops of water hang off his lashes
A fish in his hand wriggles and thrashes

A lazy day
Relaxing in the grass
Blue sky
White clouds
Tranquility to last

The sun sets over the hills
Sunbaked
A day of thrills
