overwhelming notion

overwhelming notion

A Poem by SJ.
"

inspired by Joshua Radin

"

Chilly weather, warm sweaters

Ice, Ice, Ice

Sheets of ice flood my body

Frozen solid, no willpower

Struck by his kindness,

Or the overwhelming notion

He gives when I see him,

To cuddle up with him and stay there,

There in his arms - protection, warmth, stability.

To pass it up would be foolish.

For foolish, I am not; cautious maybe.

yes i agree, its a bit rough and sketchy... you may want to go back through again and re read it and consider a few little things YOU might want to change. i think this could be better, it didnt exactly make me feel much of anything, i think maybe a little bit of emotion might be helpful, but very nice idea to start with.

Such a beautiful expression of peace, and the warmth that others can give to us... Wonderful, uplifting read!
