What's Holding you Back

What's Holding you Back

A Poem by Wildflower

It's okay to cry, baby cry out your eyes.
It's okay to feel sometimes.
Show me what you're like when you don't have that mask on.
Why are you hiding?
Falling in the shadows.
Baby, you're amazing.
You float so high, wanna grab you out of the sky.
Why do you gotta play so much?
You know you love me.
Smile at me.
That smile feels so good to both of us.
Just trust.
I don't wanna hurt you.
Keep whatever you want, l don't want a thing.
Just your love.
It's okay to dive in.
Swim around for awhile, the water's so nice.
Remove the ice around your chest.
It's holding you prisoner.
The way you're going, you'll be locked in forever.
I can free you, got the key to your happiness.
Everyone knows you're hard.
You can be soft sometimes.
Let go of the emptiness holding you back.
Warmth is all you lack.
I'm gonna keep fighting for you, that's what I do.
Love doesn't come easily, everyone gets scared sometimes.
Calm down, baby.
The world isn't so big.
The people here won't treat you like I do.
We are but vapors in sacks of flesh.
Mix in with me, we'll be so strong we'll make the world explode.
Cruise around with me, let me show you what I know.
Now dry those beautiful eyes, there is only love here.
Come right here, next to me... don't push me away.
