Brie

Brie

A Poem by Doug Ordunio
"

Cheese, anyone?

"

Brie was a cheesy girl

Just look at her

She’d get all runny

Brie liked to melt

Especially when she lay on toast

Very pale

Maybe a bit moldy

Smells faintly of ammonia

Likes dark red wine

The kind that would turn

Your mouth purple

If  she has turned black?

Let’s dip her in a café au lait

Devour her for breakfast

Sometimes she reminds me

Of unsavory things

But I love her

She knows how to please

Actually I prefer my cheesy on bread, not so much in poems.

I read the bio, truthfully, I was expecting something with more, substance.

I'll have to come back and read another piece of your's.

Everything we write can't be great yes.

Thanks for sharing.
