Tongue Dancing

Tongue Dancing

A Poem by Doug Ordunio
"

Darkened summer sweaty

Outdoor love night

A molten full moon

Played hide and seek

With well-behaved clouds

A smile on her face

Two heads drew near

Pursed lips touch

Explore a face

She eyes closed

But I wanted to soak in

Each intimate inch

Of soft velvety skin

Then began the tongue dancing

For the very first time

Was a day without money

I hadn’t a dime

Started off as a box step

Became a slow waltz

As more mutual gripping

Turned it into a tango

Descended with a lustful

Unfettered bump and grind

We slowly drew back

Came up for air

Slowly drew a hand through her soft hair

Thought about all of it

For twenty long seconds

Began again just like at the first

This time with eyes closed

Traveling more quickly

Out to the edge

Of the known universe

A moment of innocence

Forever etched

Attractively bold

Elegantly clumsy
