A Poem by Doug Ordunio
"

conjoined relationship

"

We are like Siamese twins joined at the heart

And we are now separated

We are not an entire person unless we are together

For then our heart is whole

When we are apart, there is this gentle constant pulling

We must talk to bring each other solace and assurance

When we are close, we are mute

There is only desire to fully enjoy

The rich comfortable silence

Absolutely beautiful.
Amazing imagery.

That's what it's like being seperated from your life partner. It's like being without an arm or a leg. You've lost an essential part of your being. Beautiful poetry.

Love is a beautiful and wonderous thing when in full bloom, your poem expresses it well, a lovely poem that says much in just a few words, bravo

Now I like this idea. Two lovers who must talk to each other when they are separated, but when they are together there is no need for words. That sounds too good to be true. Is there a couple like that?
