Desperata

Desperata

A Poem by Doug Ordunio
"

What's inside

"

My life is withered roses

Shattered dreams

My body languishes in crippled poses

My voice dissolves in stifled molten screams

My legs too tired to bolster up my spirit

My arms to weak my lovers to embrace

The stench of mold is near I cannot fear it

A bleak peace spreads its wings upon my face
