Home fires still burnA Poem by Snowman MikeAs I see a familiar face, My cut-back feelings start to grow I realise there's unexplored space, With areas still yet to know.
We're further down the time paved road, Further than required, A change of pace - a different mode, A tact much more desired.
The journey did not ever end, The wheels they were always turning, We still don't know whats round the bend, Still the home fires keep on burning.
They've been burning slow for years, With a steady flicker of flames, Never has been doused by tears, Or shaken by outrageous claims. © 2013 Snowman MikeFeatured Review
