Open Eyes

Open Eyes

A Poem by Snowman Mike

A chance to test the beast of fate,

To open the chest and find a heart thats great,

In the angle of life whats to be used as bait,

To rush in foolishly or abide and wait.

To mellow out in the summer sun,

Enjoying what's tangible and fun,

Abating thine ticker to duck the stun,

Sealing lips to avert the shun.

A mountain of problems that increases in size,

Lessons being learned becoming more wise,

Good hearts encompass a pleasant surprise,

To march on forward with wide-open eyes.
