Not What It Seems

Not What It Seems

A Poem by Snowman Mike

You where once in the forthought of my mind,

I was always friendly to you and indeed quite kind,

That has changed now I'm sure you will find,

When it comes down to my thoughts your left behind.

You listened to fools messed up in their head,

You thought my aim was to get you in to bed,

By listeng to foolish words being said.

I have wasted my time and tears I have shed.

So what does the future have now to hold,

Will your heart ever come out from the cold,

Will it be too late and will we be too old,

Lets see what fate has to unfold.

This is good Mike. It's not obscure in any way, describes exactly how you are feeling and has an interesting rhyming scheme. Thanks for sharing. Possibly drop the "to" in the second stanza, second line. Barbara
