Its all in the eyes.

Its all in the eyes.

A Poem by Grimm

Struggle, heartache, lust and desire.

Passion, erotica, emotion on fire.

I stare when I can, discreetly unsure.

It's all in the eyes,  a place that's so pure.

I study her feelings, her guarded emotions.

Her eyes take me far, over seas, over oceans.

To find someone's soul you must look to the eyes.

But to look at hers closely might not be too wise.

She holds back her feelings, no one can see.

When I look in her eyes, I know it is me.

Do I act on my instinct, or question the reason?

Do I hold back my feelings? Much less is treason.

I will wait and see what the future will bring.

Will seasons change, leaving me wondering?

No one can say what will come by surprise.

As I've said from the start, it's all in the eyes........

Wow. Very deep and something I think alot of us wonder. Well thought out and well put. The eyes do give us away, no matter how many masks we don. The eyes are the window to the soul! This is beautiful hun, and I'm really enjoying reading your beautiful stunnning poetry.
