In for eternity , my commitment was made! Not looking for a knight , no dragons to slay. My castle was built , moat intact. Bricks tightly mortared, no wind thru cracks. Snug , all wrapped in my fate. Feeling not love, happiness or hate. Still and quite I moved thru life. Mother , homemaker and silent wife.
At this late date my Knight does show. Consumed by lust ,everything must go. The dragons came . Attacking full force. I cried , I screamed I eluded their course. My castle crumbled, amid my tears. Forget the marriage, erase the years. A howling wind now finds new cracks. Standing alone , forced to face true facts. I invited the dragons that tore my kingdom apart. When i took you in my arms, opening my heart !
The open heart is now happy, thus the exclamation point; the knight has arrived and helped the damsel discover true love, but at a terrible cost through collateral damage it seems. If I'm getting this right, you've expressed that sometimes the price paid for destruction of one thing is worth the birth of another that is far better than the original impregnable fortress mandated by society?
Thanks for the read, and all the best,
Lanny
