Death Sestina.<3

One of the most difficult poem formats I've ever come across, and one of my favorites to tackle.

I have subjected myself
to the torture of being author
of a sestina on death.
This torture is becoming pleasurable,
although at first it seemed dreadful.
Despite the awful introduction, the life

of my sestina shall be, sadly, a long life.
Moving past the subject of myself,
or attempt thereof, I am now on the dreadful
topic of worldly demise. Now, to an author
of suspense, death is a pleasurable
prop. To everyone else, death is simply death.

There are many different views on death;
while some believe in an after-life,
which is quite a pleasurable
notion, others who are like myself
choose to believe (including some authors)
that there is none. How unappealingly dreadful!

There is a group of dreadful
people whose only mission is to inflict death
on random specimens. These people are an author's
pet character. To include life
must be boring, unfortunately like myself,
who finds life quite pleasurable.

Markedly few of us find life pleasurable.
A sad majority decide life is dreadful
and are labelled "emo". Friends and myself
try and save emo kids from choosing death
as an alternative to their "dreadful" life.
This topic is not covered by self-help authors.

This awfully boring sestina should cause authors
to cry bloody tears, which is not a pleasurable
sight. I would gladly risk my life
as an author to tell you to burn this dreadful
poem. Send this sestina to its death,
or I shall take that duty upon myself!

This poem sent authors a particularly dreadful
image. No pleasurable sentence kept it from death.
Unluckily, it lives on inside myself...
