From the ashes, arises the green mist
The voice in my head tells me everything I miss
Shows me things others have that I lack
Now the fiery green ENVY is back

The GLUTTONOUS beast residing inside
Brings edible pleasures from which I can't hide
Images of tasty morsels take over my head
Do I succumb, and let myself be misled?

A LUSTY Goddess whispers in my ear
'Give yourself to me, have no doubts or fears
surrender your body, eat the forbidden fruit
New horizons of pleasure can be awakened in you.'

Love is no option, just anger and hate
The demon in his hand, he holds my fate
Showing my one and only path
I give up my soul to the demon of WRATH

Material wealth overtakes my mind
Nothing matters as long as status is mine
The hold so tight I cannot be freed
I'm overtaken by the demon of GREED

SLOTH is my lover, my life and my friend
Accompanying me as I lay in my bed
Physical work makes me dizzy and weak
It is restful slumber my body seeks

Do I let my heart, body and soul give in?
Surrender myself to the deadly sins?
Become a child to the darkness, return to the ether
