The Truth of Infatuation

The Truth of Infatuation

A Poem by The Roommates

Void

Empty darkness is all I can see

Looking through the windshield

She takes my hand, lust takes hold;

I cannot yeild

Elation

Higher and higher did we fly

Gravity is nothing

Feeling invincible i cannot die

.

Ripping

Tearing through emotions,

shredding every thought, body and mind are severed.

We lay tethered

Together, like an old radio casette and pen...

Void

Empty darkness is all I see

Wow, what a amazing poem, I like the nice flow and wide word choice.
The ending was amazing, my favorite line was " Higher and higher did we fly, Gravity is nothing"
Great work!
