The Sweetest Torment

The Sweetest Torment

A Poem by 100 Times of War

When I smell the sweet rain,

I think of you.

When I hear the howling wind,

I think of you

When I feel a cold breeze,

I think of you

When I sleep,

I think of you

When I wake,

I think of you

When I think of you,

I suffer,

because I love you, but

I can’t tell you....

100 Times of War
I wrote this poem during the holidays, when I was really missing the one I love.
Never gave it to him though.

A very good poem. I like the flow of the words and the surprise ending. A excellent poem of hope and love. Thank you.
